Hapag-Lloyd Recognized for Data Quality Performance

The GT Nexus Shipper Council, a community of the world’s biggest importers and exporters, has recognized Hapag-Lloyd for outstanding data quality performance over the past year. Hapag-Lloyd received the award for providing the best overall data quality to the community of shippers that are operating their supply chains on the GT Nexus cloud supply chain platform.

“The purpose of the Shipper Council is to work collectively as a group to improve key technology challenges with strategic partners such as the ocean carrier community,” said Martin van Dam, Container Freight Manager EMEA at Cargill in Amsterdam, and Head of the GT Nexus Shipper Council Europe. “Data quality from ocean carriers is critical to every large shipper represented on the Council.
