Reuben Slone has joined Walgreens as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Reporting to President of Community Management, Mark Wagner, Slone will be responsible for distribution, transportation, systems integration and engineering, Lean and Six Sigma supply chain initiatives and community outreach.

“Reuben has deep experience in leading supply chain operations, improving service and efficiency and driving innovation in the management of inventory from distribution centers to the stores,” said Wagner. “He is a great addition to Walgreens leadership team, and we are looking forward to his insights and perspective as we continue to focus on making our distribution system more effective for both our team members and customers.”

Richard Thomas Appointed Sales & Marketing Director at Owen Mumford

Owen Mumford has announced the appointment of Richard Thomas as its new sales and marketing director, as it seeks to improve its long-term strategic foundations. Thomas previously served as Vice-President for Business Integration at Smiths Medical’s US operations, during which he accrued considerable experience in the medical technology field.
