BRETT STEVENS, PRESIDENT

For over twelve years, Brett M. Stevens has enjoyed remarkable success in The Executive Search Business. He founded The SearchLogix Group in 1997. Brett’s leadership enabled the group to immediately advance from its early stages to President’s Club status. Brett was named a member of MRI’s Hall of Fame and earned MRI’s highest level of professional certification: Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM). He also received numerous regional, national, and international awards through meeting the needs of his clients. He continues to achieve record breaking performance and has been nationally recognized for those results with The SearchLogix Group.

Brett is a member of the CSCMP, APICS, and WERC. He has been professionally recognized in many trade magazines and is a notable guest speaker.

Prior to working in the Executive Search industry, Brett was a consultant for an international consulting firm. His primary area of expertise was in reengineering in the manufacturing industry. His clients included a major toy manufacturer, an international chemical processor, a manufacturer and distributor of household appliances, and a Canadian forestry equipment manufacturer.

Brett’s experience also includes four years of service in the United States Marine Corps. Brett is a 5 time top finisher in The Marine Corps Marathon. In 2003, Brett raised over $10,000 and competed in The Kona Marathon in Hawaii for The American Stroke Association. Currently, Brett has just finished the publishing of his first book, “Executive Recruiting 101.”

Brett also just completed the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon that took place in October 2007. He ran 26.2 miles and raised over $5,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. 

Gina’s team provides research to our President, Account Managers, and Project Managers with regard to our clients, prospective clients, industry trends, and updates significant accomplishments of Leaders in the types of business we service. Her team also created and maintains our presence on the World Wide Web. Training and development of our Staff’s Information Technology usage and capabilities is also a critical area of responsibility that is under Gina’s leadership.

Prior to her career with The SearchLogix Group, Gina was a Manager in Human Resources in the Public Sector for eight years. She is an honors graduate of Bay State College and has completed Advanced Studies in Business Administration.

A native of the Boston area, Gina resides in the Atlanta area with her family. Outside of work, Gina enjoys playing an active role in her church community and spending time with her family and friends.

Sarah Gerstenlauer is a recent addition to The SearchLogix Group’s research team.

Sarah is in charge of The SearchLogix Group’s enormous database of active candidates and clients. Her skills help provide our Account Managers with a wealth of knowledge regarding specific industry news and top professionals within those industries

Sarah is an Atlanta native and attended Kennesaw State University.

Outside of the office, you can find Sarah hiking up Kennesaw mountain, or at Lake Lanier learning to sail on her dad’s boat. Sarah loves spending time with her family and friends.

Howie McCormack joined The SearchLogix Group in 2009 with over 19 years of experience in Logistics and Sales.

Howie has a solid reputation of providing both candidates and clients with a clear understanding of the business and cultural needs required for a successful career. His detailed knowledge of the industry has saved clients valuable time and resources. He enjoys the ability to create long term career paths with clients and candidates.

Howie’s primary areas of focus are as follows:

Howie, a 12 year Navy Veteran attended Miramar College and Kennesaw State University. He was a 2 time member of the All Navy Baseball Team and currently spends his off time with his family and wonderful wife Kelly. Howie is a member and coach of the14-under Cherokee Pride, a travel fast pitch club located out of Woodstock, Georgia.

John Butler, Vice President with The SearchLogix Group, has over 20 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, and operations management.

John’s vast knowledge of supply chain, logistics, human resources, and technology allows him to relate to his clients needs and help them with the right candidate match.

His commitment to his clients has provided him a successful track record with companies such as SAP, Infor Global Solutions, CheckFree, GE, CompuCom, Manhattan Associates, EMC, BMC, Red Hat, Sage Software, and Auto Trader. He specializes in positions such as CEO, CFO, Vice President, Operations and Human Resources.

Prior to joining The SearchLogix Group, John was Senior Executive Partner for the Lucas Group where he managed the technology group. He was also Managing Director at Custom Recruiting Solutions where he managed a team of recruiters focused on technology sales and IT. He has been a Senior Human Resources Executive and has HR management experience in several software companies and with manufacturing companies. He also served his country for 20 years in the United States Army where he held a number of command and operational positions.

John graduated with a Masters Degree from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee, WI and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.

Bob joined the SearchLogix group in 2009 because of the Group’s reputation and services. He brings over 30 years of experience in the Medical Device and Healthcare Industry, where he held various positions in executive management.

Over the last several years, Bob has become heavily involved with assisting developing Medical Device and Biotech companies secure the necessary professional talent they need to ensure growth and success.

Working closely with both the Principles and Investor Groups, Bob has secured positions in Executive Leadership, Research and Development, RA/QA, Sales and Marketing, as well as Manufacturing, in such fields as Cardiology, Oncology and Infectious Disease and Toxicology

Bob has also assisted with International projects in Europe and South America.
