Meet Brett Stevens, President
BRETT STEVENS, PRESIDENT
For over twelve years, Brett M. Stevens has enjoyed remarkable success in The Executive Search Business. He founded The SearchLogix Group in 1997. Brett’s leadership enabled the group to immediately advance from its early stages to President’s Club status. Brett was named a member of MRI’s Hall of Fame and earned MRI’s highest level of professional certification: Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM). He also received numerous regional, national, and international awards through meeting the needs of his clients. He continues to achieve record breaking performance and has been nationally recognized for those results with The SearchLogix Group.
Brett is a member of the CSCMP, APICS, and WERC. He has been professionally recognized in many trade magazines and is a notable guest speaker.

Prior to working in the Executive Search industry, Brett was a consultant for an international consulting firm. His primary area of expertise was in reengineering in the manufacturing industry. His clients included a major toy manufacturer, an international chemical processor, a manufacturer and distributor of household appliances, and a Canadian forestry equipment manufacturer.
Brett’s experience also includes four years of service in the United States Marine Corps. Brett is a 5 time top finisher in The Marine Corps Marathon. In 2003, Brett raised over $10,000 and competed in The Kona Marathon in Hawaii for The American Stroke Association. Currently, Brett has just finished the publishing of his first book, “Executive Recruiting 101.”
Brett also just completed the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon that took place in October 2007. He ran 26.2 miles and raised over $5,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Meet Gina O'Leary, General Manager
Prior to her career with The SearchLogix Group, Gina was a Manager in Human Resources in the Public Sector for eight years. She is an honors graduate of Bay State College and has completed Advanced Studies in Business Administration.
A native of the Boston area, Gina resides in the Atlanta area with her family. Outside of work, Gina enjoys playing an active role in her church community and spending time with her family and friends.

Meet Andy Gross, Project Coordinator
Andy grew up in Minneapolis and attended the University of St. Thomas where he earned a degree in Human Resources Management with a minor in Psychology. He traded in his snow shovel for sunshine and moved to Atlanta over five years ago.
His background includes over five years of corporate recruiting and four years of sales positions. He has successfully placed high caliber candidates in: • Sales • Sales Management • Banking & Financial • Insurance • Production • Warehouse • Distribution Outside of the office you can find Andy competing in local and national racquetball tournaments.
He is active in the Georgia Racquetball Association and conducts clinics for Team Wilson. Andy and his wife live in the northwest suburbs of Atlanta. They enjoy boating on Lake Hartwell and relaxing with friends and family.

Meet Sarah Aust, Research Assistant
In August 2007, Sarah Aust joined The SearchLogix Group as a part-time research assistant, where she provides full research and administrative support. Sarah was born and raised in Southern Michigan. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she earned her degree in Communication, with a minor in Health and Sports Science. She moved to Georgia three years ago and lives with her family in the Atlanta area.
When Sarah is not working in the office, you can find her personal training at her local YMCA. She enjoys teaching adults and children how to improve their health through exercise and diet. Sarah also likes to travel and loves spending time with her husband and two children.

Meet James Furness, VP of Sales
James Furness joined The SearchLogix Group in 2007 and came to us with 7 years of diverse recruitment experience from one of world’s largest recruitment firms. James attended the University of Massachusetts at Boston and has been an Atlanta native for the majority of his life. James has an excellent reputation of establishing long-term working relationships with both his clients and candidates. James’ primary areas of focus are as follows:

Meet Sarah Gerstenlauer, Research Assistant
Sarah Gerstenlauer is a recent addition to The SearchLogix Group’s research team.
Sarah is in charge of The SearchLogix Group’s enormous database of active candidates and clients. Her skills help provide our Account Managers with a wealth of knowledge regarding specific industry news and top professionals within those industries
Sarah is an Atlanta native and attended Kennesaw State University.
Outside of the office, you can find Sarah hiking up Kennesaw mountain, or at Lake Lanier learning to sail on her dad’s boat. Sarah loves spending time with her family and friends.

Meet Patti Ghezzi, Journalist
Patti Ghezzi is a veteran journalist with 15 years experience covering everything from education to the environment to business. While on staff at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, she founded the blog Get Schooled. She now writes about business for publications such as Atlanta Woman and Georgia Trend as well as the Website DivineCaroline. When not working, she chases after her toddler, watches Yankee games with her husband and tries to figure out how to live green without giving up her beloved Diet Coke.

Meet Dr. Philip Aust, Assistant Professor
Dr. Philip Aust is a professor at Kennesaw State University (KSU). He teaches Organizational Communication Audits, Leadership, Training and Development, and Research Methods in the Department of Communication at KSU.
Dr. Aust’s research focuses on leadership in organizational, group, and interpersonal contexts. He examines emerging leadership perspectives, messages associated with productivity and task quality, and leader performance. He has authored and co-authored book chapters and articles published in such journals as Communication Studies, Basic Communication Course Annual, and Communication Teacher .
Dr. Aust regularly conducts communication consultations for profit and non-profit Atlanta-based companies. He has worked with over 25 companies in the last three years.

Meet Steve Bullard, Director
Steve Bullard has built a nine year executive recruiting career with technology-based companies. Steve began his career in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries with a niche focus in technical sales, business development, operations and regulatory before moving into the supply chain and logistics industry. His technical acumen has proven instrumental in recruiting and filling critical roles with top supply chain and logistics talent with his client companies.
