Logistics Field Career Advice

Reader Question:

I’ve attached my current resume. When you get a chance I would love to hear what your thoughts are on the content, and what positions I might be able to achieve with my level of experience and education. My desire is to get more involved in the logistics/ transportation side of things.

Recruiter’s Advice:

You are definitely on the right track. Obtaining your BBA in Management will certainly give you an edge in your career as well as the additional courses in APICS. As of right now you have an adequate amount of both education and experience for either a Supervisor and/or Assistant Management role. Some additional experience in Import/Export, Inventory Control, Material Management and Carrier services will be beneficial to your growth in the Logistics Field.
