Reuben Slone has joined Walgreens as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Reporting to President of Community Management, Mark Wagner, Slone will be responsible for distribution, transportation, systems integration and engineering, Lean and Six Sigma supply chain initiatives and community outreach.

“Reuben has deep experience in leading supply chain operations, improving service and efficiency and driving innovation in the management of inventory from distribution centers to the stores,” said Wagner. “He is a great addition to Walgreens leadership team, and we are looking forward to his insights and perspective as we continue to focus on making our distribution system more effective for both our team members and customers.”

Executive Recruiter Says Being Number 2 Isn't So Bad

Being number 2 is not something that Brett Stevens typically likes to be. But, being number 2 in the world for the amount of money raised through Athletes for a Cure is A-OK in Brett’s book!  So far, he has topped his original goal of raising $5,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation by $200 and he’s been promised another $300 from his sponsors!
