Reuben Slone has joined Walgreens as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Reporting to President of Community Management, Mark Wagner, Slone will be responsible for distribution, transportation, systems integration and engineering, Lean and Six Sigma supply chain initiatives and community outreach.

“Reuben has deep experience in leading supply chain operations, improving service and efficiency and driving innovation in the management of inventory from distribution centers to the stores,” said Wagner. “He is a great addition to Walgreens leadership team, and we are looking forward to his insights and perspective as we continue to focus on making our distribution system more effective for both our team members and customers.”

Friday Funny Finds: Make sure someone proof reads your resume

If you’re job hunting, you may be submitting your resume to a number of job sites, companies, and recruiters in the hopes of landing a great new job opportunity. If you’re looking for a job, the last thing you want to happen is for your resume to go un-noticed by the person who is hiring for the job. Then again, if your resume ends up on a feature article on the net, that may not be a good thing either! Especially, if the article is featuring your resume because they think your resume is funny.

Wondering what kind of things you shouldn’t put on a resume? There are some great example on the net on sites like dribble glass , Career Journal  , Techvibes and guy-sports to name just a few!

In some cases though, a funny resume, just might get you the job! Well, maybe not the job you want but… take a look at this job application that McDonald’s got from a 17 year old.
