Friday Funny Finds: Recruiting Ad Lists Qualifications

I was browsing the net this afternoon when I found an add for a marketing copywriter listed on a recruiting job site. I am purposely eliminating the name of the company to cut down on the number of applicants that apply for the job. I am not trying to recruit those applicants for The SearchLogix Group, if that what you’re thinking. Nope. I have a more personal interest in keeping that info “hush, hush”. I want the job!

After reading over the job description, the job looks like a perfect match for me. There’s only one problem. I don’t meet their education requirements. Darn.

Oh well, maybe there’s another way for me to get my foot in the door? After reading their job description, it seems to me that they need a copywriter asap! Maybe I could correct their spelling error and send it back to them with a reasonable argument about why they should consider me? For a little extra insurance, maybe I could throw in the Dunkin Donuts resume box trick for some added leverage. Hmmm… If you have any other tips, email me at dailyrecruiter.support@gmail.com!
