Got Business Suits You Don't Wear Anymore?

It happens to all of us at one time or another, we find ourselves looking at a closet full of clothes that don’t fit or just aren’t our style, anymore. We remember the price we paid for those quality suits and throwing them away just doesn’t seem right. We’d give them to someone who needed them, but we just don’t know anyone who would want them. If we’d only known about Dress for Success or Career Gear, our problem would have been solved.

Dress for Success - “Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help our clients find a job and remain employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work. Since 1997, Dress for Success has served almost 300,000 women around the world. Each year we reach more than 40,000 women in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. All Dress for Success organizations are not-for-profit entities, with Dress for Success Worldwide and its U.S. affiliates having 501(c)(3) charitable status.”

Career Gear - “As the need for services assisting disadvantaged men grew in 2006, Career Gear was able to expand its core services to meet the demand. Partnering with job training programs throughout the country, Career Gear continued to provide interview counseling and business attire to male job-seekers; along with crucial retention support that helped them cope with the demands in the workplace and keep jobs.
