Reuben Slone has joined Walgreens as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Reporting to President of Community Management, Mark Wagner, Slone will be responsible for distribution, transportation, systems integration and engineering, Lean and Six Sigma supply chain initiatives and community outreach.

“Reuben has deep experience in leading supply chain operations, improving service and efficiency and driving innovation in the management of inventory from distribution centers to the stores,” said Wagner. “He is a great addition to Walgreens leadership team, and we are looking forward to his insights and perspective as we continue to focus on making our distribution system more effective for both our team members and customers.”

You Mission If You Should Choose to Accept It - Find Our Senior Sales Director 

When last seen the Senior Sales Director had been providing high-end, complex managed services and/or software solution sales to Fortune 2000 manufacturing and retail / distribution - centric companies. They (this could be a man or a woman) also have an expertise in domestic and international transportation. They have a network of contacts and industry relationships, which may help you to locate them. They also have a track record of developing and selling through alliance partners and can establish credibility with various levels within corporate transportation. They have at least a bachelor’s degree but we suspect they may have attained an advanced degree.

spy.jpgWhat we know for sure is they can create and execute a business plan to achieve revenue goals for assigned sales territory and prospective customers. They are also able to prospect, qualify, demonstrate, close, and negotiate contracts with prospective customers. In addition, they can sell managed transportation services, on-demand management system, consulting services and transportation capacity offerings. We also know that they can provide weekly reports on activity and account status, following prescribed client company sales processes. They maintain complete, accurate representations of all opportunities within a sales force automation solution and are able to travel about 50% of the the time, regionally as well as nationally on assigned prospects.
