Reuben Slone has joined Walgreens as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Reporting to President of Community Management, Mark Wagner, Slone will be responsible for distribution, transportation, systems integration and engineering, Lean and Six Sigma supply chain initiatives and community outreach.

“Reuben has deep experience in leading supply chain operations, improving service and efficiency and driving innovation in the management of inventory from distribution centers to the stores,” said Wagner. “He is a great addition to Walgreens leadership team, and we are looking forward to his insights and perspective as we continue to focus on making our distribution system more effective for both our team members and customers.”

Monsters get caught with hands in the Cookie Jar

A former Monster executive pleaded guilty to securities fraud, according a report by USA Today. Myron Olesnyckyj, general counsel and other former Monster executives were charged with backdating stock-option grants worth millions ofcookie jar.JPG dollars by the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Reuters reported that Olesnyckyj told U.S. District Judge Laura Swain in N.Y. that he made nearly $400,000 from the fraud scheme. He also agreed to forfeit the money. Olyesnyckyj hails from New Providence, N.J. and is 45 years old.  If he receives the proposed penalty for his crime, he will pay out millions of dollars in fines. He will also be 70 years old if the court decides to give him the maximum 25 year sentence.

I wonder if they ever cheated in college?
