What Mitt Romney Forgot to Pack For His YouTube Interview
Monday, August 20, 2007 at 08:53AM Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachusetts, is in a full fledged war with YouTube, or I should say You Tubers. If you haven’t been following the presidential debate, because you felt that watching a rerun of Dirty Jobs was more to your liking, you have missed one of the funniest interview situations ever! You have also missed some tips about what you should pack before going on your next interview!
If you’ve got an important interview, remember to take these essentials with you!
1. Bring your sense of humor. When you’re sitting across from an interviewer, make sure they can tell the difference between you and a block of cement! Smile and show your sense of humor!
How would you react to this interviewer? Democrats in the presidential debate did it by smiling, then answering the question. Good move. They earned “likeability” points from viewers and voters.
2. Bring some respect. Don’t judge the person interviewing you by the way they look, sound, or act. Some of the richest men in the world wear jeans, t-shirts, and turtlenecks to work. Are they important people to impress during an interview? Only if you want a great job at a great company!
Mitt Romney, republican presidential candidate, decided he wouldn’t answer questions from a snowman named Billiam. What Mitt failed to realize is that even if your interviewer looks like King Kong, if he or she has a legitimate question that pertains to the job you’re interviewing for, it is in your best interests to answer it. Here a video that was posted on YouTube, when another YouTuber discovered that Mitt discounted the value of the interviewer and his question.
3. Bring a calendar and a watch. If you get called for an interview for your dream job, accept the invitation and be there at the right date and be on time!
